In just 15-30 seconds, social media can expand sickle cell disease awareness and help survivors, or SCD warriors, make an impact.
Using real Generation S patient stories, we hit a key insight on SCD-TikTok: fighters are becoming candid about what sickle cell disease means to them, and Gen S showcases others opening up about their journey and how they have prevailed since their diagnosis.
We targeted our key demographic of 16+ on TikTok with captions that resonate with the Gen Z, or Gen S epowering “get it, girl” mindset.
